ISO 17034

ISO 17034 – This is our ISO manufacturing accreditation. This is an international standard which dictates manufacturing processes and requirements to ensure the accuracy and reliability of certified products. This accreditation includes a company-specific scope, which dictates the types of products and concentrations that we are able to produce under the accreditation. Products that fall outside of the parameters of the scope cannot be ISO 17034 certified – we do provide products without certain accreditations, so long as they still meet the requirements of our customers’ methods.

  • Scopes of accreditation are available for review on the IV website. Our 17034 scope includes the concentration ranges for specific products and the maximum relative uncertainty that would be allowed.
  • Can starting materials be certified? Yes, starting material producers could potentially obtain ISO certification for their manufacturing or testing processes. However, IV is not currently able to certify or supply starting materials. Our friends at Pure have investigated the need for accredited starting materials and have found that accreditation is not a priority for customers of this particular type of product at the moment.
