Calibration Standard
Calibration Standard - Provides a basis for quantification in instrumental analysis. Instrument responses for analytes at known concentrations in a calibrant (calibration solution) are compared against samples with unknown analyte concentration to allow for determination of their concentration.
- Calibration solutions are kind of like an element specific ruler that can be used to measure unknown samples against to determine elements present and at what level.
