Analyte
Analyte – substance that is being tested in an analytical procedure. For example, elements present in our products or in a customer’s sample would be called ‘analytes’ as they are the subject of the analysis being conducted. Often used interchangeably with words like ‘elements’, ‘elements of interest’, ‘compound’, or ‘solute’.
