CRM (Certified Reference Material)

CRM – (Certified Reference Material) - A majority of IV’s products are certified reference materials (we do offer reagents and other uncertified products). Most of our products are certified via accredited, controlled, and audited manufacturing and testing processes and are tested against NIST SRMs.

• NIST traceability is a major selling point for our customers – the closer on the ‘unbroken chain of comparison’ a standard is to NIST, the less uncertainty the user will have in their analysis, as each step in a process adds more potential for mistakes or errors and therefore more uncertainty in the accuracy of results.
