General Spectroscopy - Differences between ICP and IC standards
We are interested in the difference between IC (ion chromatography) and ICP standards.
For example, your 1000 ppm IC standards for Ca, K, Na, Mg are prepared in the same matrix as ICP standards.
Can we use ICP standards of the above elements also for IC?
The certificates are almost the same beside the certified values of impurities.

The 1000 ppm ICP single element standards for Ca, Mg, K, and Na are suitable for use on the IC. The only difference between the ICP and IC products of each listed analyte is how the impurities are reported; the ICP product includes information on trace metals impurities while the IC product is supplied with a chromatogram. |
