Different Li products as ionization buffers
I have a technical question about the difference between your 2% Lithium Ionization Buffer (LINB2-500ML) and your Lithium standard 10,000 ug/mL (CGLI10-500ML)… Aside from concentration is there any difference in the 2 if the intended use is as an ionization buffer in the internal standard for ICP?

Starting materials for QCP-NUT-2
I have a couple of questions about the QCP-NUT-2 standard. What compound or compounds are used in this standard? I’m particularly interested in the TKN portion of the product. Is it possible to have custom concentrations for this standard?

Measuring ammonia (NH3) using ICP-OES
We have a requirement for the analysis of ammonia content in solid calcium chloride, and have an ICP-OES in our lab. Do you know if it is possible to determine the ammonia content with this equipment? A literature search indicated that the reaction of ammonia with hypochlorite and salicylate, catalyzed by nitroferricyanide, produces a blue dye that can be measured spectrophotometrically at 670 nm.

Multi-element standards for urine and serum
I am looking for a suggestion(s) for a multi-element ICP-MS standard(s) to use as a starting point for trace metals in urine and serum.

Determination of arsenic in sediment
We're doing a research study on the environmental impact at an abandoned arsenic mine, and the samples consist of sediment and water. What technique do you recommend to analyze these samples for arsenic and other toxic elements?

Solid alloy standards for aluminum (Al) and other metals
Do you know where we can obtain certified alloy, especially aluminum, standards other than NIST? We would like to start developing methods for aluminum alloys and would love to have something we could carry through the whole sample prep sequence. We might want to do steel and other metals in the future, but aluminum alloys are our first step.

Impurities standards for pharmaceuticals testing
I am in charge of prospecting for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), excipients, and analytical impurities and standards for R&D purposes. Do you provide custom standards for these impurities and applications?

As, Cr, and Cu standards prepared from salts
I'm looking for an As, Cr, and Cu standards (either as single element solutions or a multi-element mix) that are prepared from their salts (As from an arsenate salt and Cr/Cu from their chloride salts). Do you have any standards that are prepared from these starting materials?

Sulfur analysis of filters with XRF
We've previously analyzed sulfur on filters with XRF. The instrument is now broken and beyond repair. Another lab will be responsible for producing the results but they use ICP. Because the XRF is broken, there is no way to trace or compare the analytical results. We need to find a new method as accurate as possible and hope the results will correspond. We are using a cellulose filter where 1 ml AgNO3 solution has been added to the filter and then dried. The filter is placed in a chimney in order to detect leaks of SO3. Do you have any ideas on how to prepare and analyze the sulfur content as accurately as possible?
