Chemical Stability and Compatibility - Stability assessments and expiration dates

We were wondering about the date of manufacturing of one standard (CGICI1 ; Lotnumber: J2-IOD01035). The date of manufacturing is stated in the certificate of analyse on the 20th of November 2015. How can you confirm the stability of the standard for the expiration date of one year or the expiration date (not opening the TCT bag) of three years? How do you store the standards to avoid transpiration over more than one year?

As a reference material producer, Inorganic Ventures is required by ISO Guide 34 to assess the long-term stability of our products and assign an uncertainty due to long-term stability. Our Stability Assessment utilizes a regression analysis to assign the uncertainty due to long-term stability as well as the expiration date. Our products have been tested at regular intervals and the stability samples are stored in sealed TCT bags between tests. The product in question (CGICI) has shown nearly 8 years of stability (7.9 years). If the product is used according to the recommendations on the certificate, the certified value will remain within the stated uncertainty during the expiration period.
