Measurement and Results - Resources for measuring drinking water by ICP-MS

I am doing research on water quality, and I am going to analyze tap , well and bottled water samples by ICP-MS for a number of metals like lead , copper , chromium , cadmium , mercury and others. The problem is, I can't understand the method of analysis , and process of pre-testing , especially that I am not a chemist or analyst . Could you please help me and send me a clear and simple method that I could use?
