Hi, can you please give me details on laboratory preparation of 1000 ppm oxalate standard solution from each of sodium oxalate and oxalic acid?

To prepare a 1000 mg/L (ppm) oxalate solution from sodium oxalate, dissolve 1.522 grams of sodium oxalate in 1 liter of water. If using oxalic acid, dissolve 1.023 grams of oxalic acid in 1 liter of water to produce a 1000 mg/L oxalate solution. It is recommended that the final solution be refrigerated for storage, primarily to limit the growth of microorganisms. |
