Measurement and Results - Internal standards for Ca, Fe, Zn by ICP-MS

We would like to purchase additional internal standards for an ICP-MS. We are most concerned with an appropriate internal standard for Fe, Ca, and Zn when measuring at ~2 ppb. So far we are using Bi, Rh, Li, Sc, and Tb. Do you have other suggestions?

The Sc in your current internal standard should be suitable for the elements you’re measuring, particularly Ca, as Sc and Ca have both similar masses and ionization energies. However, for Fe and Zn, it’s possible that Co (for Fe) and As (for Zn) might prove more appropriate, as they more closely match both the masses and ionization energies of Fe and Zn (respectively).
