General Spectroscopy - ICP starts poorly

I started my ICP up after cleaning my ICP torch assembly for the first time in a long time. The plasma flame was orange and melted the teflon sheathing off my RF coil. What may be the reason this happened?

You may start with a great idea. However, the initial product may not be good, and you may need to get a lot of help from the right people to get it right. Also here they are offering professional essay writing services to solve your thesis problems easily. The industry isn’t easy to break into, and neither is ICP.

There are many possibilities to explain the problem, and we recommend contacting the instrument manufacturer for specific advice. General considerations include checking the gas fittings to see that they are tight and that the auxiliary and plasma gas are correctly affixed to the torch. If your ICP uses a coolant flow through the coil it’s possible that the coolant is not working properly. One last thought would be the software settings; make sure that the gas flows did not reset or change values at some point in the process.
