Measurement and Results - Hexavalent chromium (Cr) by ICP
How do we test a solution for Cr+6 ? Can I use ICP and do you have a Cr+6 standard I could use?

ICP by itself will only measure total Cr. It is not capable of speciation. A chromatographic or spectrophotometric technique would need to be used prior to ICP analysis (either online or offline) in order to differentiate between Cr oxidation states. Yes, we do have Cr+6 standards in our catalog that could be used with ICP such as CGCR(6)1. |
