Measurement and Results - Differences between tuning and wavelength calibration standards

Are there any actual differences in uses between IV-STOCK-24 and IV-STOCK-55? We're being asked to create an “ICP OES & MP-AES wavecal solution“ but the specified ingredients and concentrations match the tuning solution IV-TOCK-24.

The terminology differences typically reflect phrases different instrument manufactures may use, and we’ve occasionally mirrored those differences to help customers find solutions that are familiar to them. The solutions can be used interchangeably, and the end user can decide what works best for them. Wavecal implies a solution that is intended for wavelength calibration of an OES/AES ICP, and Tuning frequently implies a solution that is used to test for sensitivity. In other words, Wavecal tells you if you’re measuring what you think you’re measuring, and Tuning tells you if the machine has the appropriate sensitivity.
