Press Release Inorganic Ventures to move to Christiansburg, VA
February 29, 2008
Inorganic Ventures is pleased to announce that the company will be relocating its U.S. base of operations from Lakewood, New Jersey to Christiansburg, Virginia. A state-of-the-art, multi-million dollar manufacturing facility is to be constructed at the Falling Branch Corporate Park within the year, bringing jobs and business opportunities to the surrounding community.
The company's relocation was a carefully planned decision designed to help the manufacturer meet the needs of an expanding operation and workforce. Virginia was chosen as the relocation site as it ranked first among the "Best States for Business" by Forbes (May 2006), and was cited as a "5-Star Business Opportunity Metro" by Expansion Management Magazine (July 2006). The extensive shipping needs of the company are also well served by the new location, which is positioned near I-81 and only minutes from Roanoke Airport and a major UPS hub.
Virginia Governor Timothy M. Kaine made a statewide announcement on Wednesday stating, "Inorganic Ventures is a leading company on the cutting-edge of technology for its field. Virginia was chosen as the company's headquarters, manufacturing and distribution operations because of Montgomery County's trained workforce and proximity to research opportunities with Virginia Tech."
The new facility will take advantage of the most current technology and laboratory design concepts, which will promote greater productivity and efficiency. Additionally, the manufacturing center has been designed to be 100% friendly to the environment.
Inorganic Ventures is the leading custom inorganic standards manufacturer in the United States, preparing custom and conventional chemical standards for companies around the world. Privately held and founded in 1985, Inorganic Ventures can prepare almost any inorganic chemical blend and can tailor the solution to fit its customers' unique specifications.
Employment Opportunities
Inorganic Ventures will be seeking degreed chemists and other qualified individuals to help staff the new facility within the coming months. Employment opportunities will include manufacturing technicians, quality assurance personnel, packaging technicians, customer service specialists, and shipping technicians.
